Once a year, Calzoleria Carlino opens the doors to one of the most distinctive parts of its archive.
One of the oldest family owned shoemaking houses still active in Italy, Calzoleria Carlino has spent generations sourcing, preserving and working with exceptional leathers.
For a limited period, selected exotic skins from this private archive will be available with no additional charge on our fully handmade shoes, crafted entirely in our workshop in Sassuolo, Italy.
This year, the promotion becomes even more special.
No longer limited to alligator alone, the selection now extends to a wider range of exotic skins from our archive: alligator, crocodile, lizard, stingray and other rare materials collected over the years.
Each skin is available only in limited quantity. In some cases, enough for one pair only.

Calzoleria Carlino was founded in 1958 and is still owned and operated by the same family today.
For us, shoemaking has never been simply a profession or a business. It has always been a family tradition, almost a form of devotion passed from one generation to the next.
The workshop was built around the culture of handmade shoes: the smell of leather, the sound of hand tools on the bench, the study of proportions, fitting and elegance.
Over the decades, this passion became part of the identity of the family itself.
Today, every pair still passes through the hands of artisans working inside the same workshop philosophy that shaped the house decades ago.
Not an industrial factory.
